  You will notice in most homes where an animal lover lives, there would be a couple of animal posters. The reason for this is the love for the animal. These could also be real life posters from a memorable journey. A number of award-winning photography has been of those where animals have been caught in movement.

These posters are generally not put up in the drawing room, since an individual’s affinity towards a particular animal or the animal kingdom in general is limited to being a matter of personal preference. So, these posters are usually put up in the bedroom. Some people go one step further and put them up in the wardrobe. There are people who feel inspired by looking at a cute animal poster for a while. They claim it to be a form of inspirational meditation that makes them want to imbibe the powerful characteristics of the animal. For instance, the royalty and pride of a lion.

Animal posters is in fact a must have in schools and colleges where one of the subjects is zoology. The posters put up in the pre-primary section of the school are usually the painted and colorful ones, though real life pictures could also be put up. The reason for this is that children learn more effectively when the teaching is done using the audio-visual media.

In the higher section of school and zoology departments of colleges and universities, these posters take a more serious turn. In the sense that these posters would be in the form of diagrams explaining the anatomy of the animals understudy. They maybe charts that give the genealogy of a particular animal.  ~ author Lata S.
