antique chandeliers
|
|
The word antique connotes something that is very old, archaic, historic,
old fashioned, et al. But, in spite of this anything that is gold is
stated to be as valuable as gold. Like they say old is gold. All in all
anything antique has more value than the new unless it is a digital
product. antique chandeliers also have immense value amongst those who
like to collect antique artifacts. The chandeliers of the times gone by were intricately designed and adorned with either precious stones, crystals, paintings and metal sculptured. Though they were far larger than today’s chandelier’s they still have an aesthetic presence that causes one to admire them. There are some auctioneers who auction antique chandeliers at prices that are unimaginable and obviously affordable by only the affluent. However, a large number of Antique Chandeliers are housed in museums
or in Indian palaces where they originally belong. Dealers
sell the smaller ones that belong to the various eras. The chandeliers
available belong to the era spanning between the early 1800s and the
1930s. These chandeliers were either lit up with candles or gas lamps.
