Bluetooth : What is Bluetooth? Bluetooth connect low-cost wireless communications and networking between PCs mobile phones & other devices. This enables  wireless connectivity between the Internet and other devices.

Bluetooth works on global radio-frequency (RF) standards, which operates on the 2.4 GHz ISM band, providing license-free operation in the United States and other countries.

The promotion of Bluetooth wireless technology within the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) and in the user community is lead by 9 Promoter Group companies: 3Com, Microsoft, Motorola, Ericsson, Intel, IBM, Lucent, Nokia, and Toshiba.
