Obedience is often misunderstood. With the right training approach, any dog can have fun learning basic obedience commands, which form a helpful foundation for other sports, and many dogs go on to compete in obedience trials. A trained dog is welcome almost anywhere, and is an enjoyable companion. Your dog will feel confident knowing that it can please you, and you will learn how to communicate with each other.

eg if your dog is anywhere except on your own property and it 'poos' (for want of a better term), YOU are responsible for cleaning this mess up !.  Dog training involves teaching your dog to understand you.

Dog Training doesn't always have to mean going to a dog-friendly park. Training doesn't have to take place on a large field. Training doesn't always include special equipment and time spent setting it up. Training doesn't have to involve a 30-minute block of time. And, training should never be tedious or boring.
