Trampolines were first used as a tool to exercise by the American
soldiers during the world war. It was only after 20 years that the
trampolines made its presence felt in the common market. Instructor J.B. Berns introduced exercise trampoline as an exercise instrument in fitness centres. He proved that exercising on trampolines helped build cells and thus it worked beyond muscles as it strengthened the bone. Exercise trampolines help everyone who needs to burn some fat. It benefits the body by improving balance, co-ordination and muscle-tone. It increases blood circulation and strengthens the immune function. Moreover as it absorbs shocks and is flexible even the disabled and elderly can do a workout without causing any trouble. Exercise trampolines have proved their benefits and hence are recommended by trainers, chiropractioners and physiotherapists.
