wedding thank you cards

In the olden days it was a tradition for the elders in the house to give blessings to the newly married couple. It was said that the couple would need these blessings as they are on the onset of a new life. They will be able to face all the hardships that come their way with the help of the blessings that the elders give them. Hence the tradition continues.

Elders are very important at a wedding, especially in India. But in today’s busy world the date and time you have set may not feasible for the guests you invite. There may be meetings or other engagements people have committed themselves too. But to partake in your wedding they may cancel them. Making others unhappy so that you can be happy.

A small gesture that you can show of how thankful you are to them is by giving a thank you card. Wedding thank you cards is a caring way to say you really thank your guests from your heart for being there at the most important day in your life.

Thank you cards can be simple. They can be given to individuals when they are leaving the reception or it could be tied together to the table piece. This is a normal practice in India. Just simply scribe the name of the couple, add in the day, date and year.

If you want it to be even more memorable you could take down the names of all the guests that had arrived for the wedding. You could deploy this work to a friend. And then send your guests individual wedding thank you cards. A name on each card shows how deeply you meant thank you. You will always be remembered by your guests for this gesture.
