For advertisers who spend $2.1 million for few seconds of air during this event, the question asked was, is it worth it ? But as one expert of commercial advertising put it – “the Super Bowl is, well. Super Bowl, the only broadcast viewers want to see, evaluate and talk about the ads that appear. Although the commercials themselves tend to be more male oriented, about 15% of the 130 million will be probably female. Since 1967, there have been almost 38 Super Bowls with approximately 2200 Super Bowl Commercials. Throughout the game there were some that stood out amongst mediocre ads. In 1984, Apple Macintosh acheived the credit of making the Super Bowl as a mega event with its first launch commercial broadcast, which was created by Ridley Scott. It featured a world like that in George Orwell’s novel 1984 and was nominated as the greatest Super Bowl Commercial. Truly, the Super Bowl is the most looked forward to event for advertising industry. So, while the sport goes into over time and keeps the audience at the edge of their seats there are other are receiving more hype than the game … the companies which promote their products. editor F.
