infant toys

The child world is a very much a world of toys– a world wherein kids totally sink in. But toys differ from age to age. We always notice a warning on toy boxes. Some say “Not suitable for kids below 5”, while others say “Only for kids 3-8”

A game of marbles may be played by kids above the age group of 12. But that game cannot be played by infants. There is always a danger that they might swallow them.

So what are the toys that infants can play with? Firstly, the size of the toy. They are usually big in size so that there is no risk of the infant swallowing the toy. Secondly, infant toys are made out of smooth edges and not sharp ones. This eliminates the risk of the infant getting hurt.

Also, infant toys are light in weight which again prevents the risk of getting hurt. They are also made out plastic material and not wood or any kind of metal. These are usually balls, cartoon miniatures, animals, cricket plastic sets, etc…….. Infant toys are toys that keep the infant engaged at play for a long time.

Parents spend lots of money every now and then getting a new toy for their little ones. The Indian toy industry has grown over the years with the growing need and importance to keep the infant engaged at play.

Also, new means of communication have made people aware of the various toys available in the market today. New Toys with music have also entered the market. They produce sounds of animals and birds etc… due to which many times the infant stops crying upon listening to them. The local Indian toy industry is facing stiff competition from Chinese made toys which are available at fractional cost compared to Indian toys.
