Toddler beds are usually bright and colorful. They are of small tiny size yet comfortable enough for the toddler to sleep in. Most toddler beds have big “Wall like” borders. This is because it helps prevent the little one from falling off the bed. Earlier borders used to be made out of hard wood which had the danger of the toddler getting hurt. But now, most toddler beds have borders made out of wood that are covered with soft spongy cushion like material that acts as safety equipment. Many toddler beds also have cartoon characters on them. This also acts as a toy for the toddler.

Nowadays, many Indian furniture companies are coming up with new and innovative toddler beds. The latest one for instance is the one that has light music playing in it. On the press of a button, the bed starts playing nursery rhymes and songs. They also have a facility wherein when the toddler moves, there is a music that is played. That means for every move the toddler makes, there is a song.
Toddler beds are a new addition to the furniture shops. Unlike the U.S.A, Indian does not have any minimum safety norm which certifies the product child safe, so look carefully before selecting a product.

And they are fast selling too. Gone are the days when the toddler used to sleep between the father and the mother. Now they sleep on their very own toddler beds.
