Technical development in the last century has made stainless steel one
of the most productive metals. While it can be used to create sheets and
pans and pots and sinks for the homes, it is put to tougher use as a
means to protect a household or commercial property. This metal can be
put to such variable uses simply because of the types or grades in which
it is available. There are the softer more ductile and malleable grades
for consumer durable production and the tougher and harder ones for
industrial use. The stainless steel grill is used by many because of it strength and toughness. It is not easy to bend these rods as it has a high melting point. Even welding into them is too tedious for any thief to take chances. Apart from its basic value in terms of toughness, it can also be molded into various patterns, making it into an aesthetic protective essential. Most Indian homes put up a stainless steel grill. The purpose of this grill is firstly, to prevent any mishap in apartments on the upper levels of tall buildings. Another aspect is protection from thieves. No matter how well the building maybe taken care off, some security lapses could prove an entry point for thieves planning to enter through the windows. Apart from protecting the windows, a stainless steel grill can be put up in front of the main door. This way one can be sure about a visitor before letting them in. A smaller grill is usually fit onto the main door through which people at home can check who the visitor is and deal with anyone unwanted without having to open the door. The grills made of stainless steel can be put through an electro-chemical treatment to create various colors. Though the preferred ones are black, bronze, copper and the natural mirror surface. Stainless steel grills (from cooking perspective) A party in the outdoors would definitely call for grilled food. What is grilled food? This is food prepared on a grill. It is roasted. Usually the raw vegetables are marinated for almost the entire day and then put through a skew and held over the griller. The food griller can be made of various metals. However, a stainless steel grill is the ideal option. It is probably the safest metal as far as cooking is concerned. Since high temperature levels cannot affect it there is no worry of steel or its elements leaving any deposits on the food. This alloyed metal is also highly corrosion-resistant and will not erode as easily. As people do not use the grill very often, one does not have worry about it rusting in storage. Apart from that it is available in various sizes and is easily portable. In fact most campers put their stainless steel grill into their luggage, to ensure that while in the outdoors they do eat properly cooked food. Apart from the grills used for camping and outdoor parties, the grill within a cooking range is also made of stainless steel. It is easy to clean and tends to cook food faster than the use of other material. One does not also have to worry about this metal getting damaged because of excessive use. Its high melting point ensures that it can withstand any amount of heating. In India, a lot of youngsters go hiking to hill stations and enjoy the grilled food they are served. In fact people when out over the weekend to their farmhouse carry all ingredients to prepare roasted cuisine.
