Today every product one needs has a wholesale source, and this includes
the car audio too. In the case of the wholesale car audio one needs to
put in a little extra effort in tracing the wholesalers and then
conducting complete research before making the final investment. Wholesale car audio dealers are established at varied levels. For instance, some deal in brand new products, while others are into trading second hand car audio systems and accessories such as speakers, cd changers, etc. There are wholesalers who also auction their products, in the case of bulk selling. There are manufacturers who have a larger set-up, thereby having their own wholesale unit, and in fact they go one step further by also setting up their own dealer or distributor points, or what is commonly known as retail outlets. They basically sanction franchises to dealers. This way they hold a monopoly in the market, earning higher profit margins, as it is all in-house, so to speak. In the last decade or so, all cars that exit the showroom are built with the facility to also hold the car audio system, because of which the demand for this mechanism has been on the increase. In fact, with traffic hazards in almost every urban town and city, music while travelling has become a necessity. Because of the widespread wholesale market, people have a choice between the local brands and those imported, all depending on their budget and tilt towards wanting to own only the latest in car sound technology.
