wholesale shoes

The ethnic shoes manufactured in India, today has a global market. In fact a lot o designers abroad try to replicate the Indian designs, but it turns out more expensive, as the raw material needs to be imported and the designers and shoemakers abroad cost more. Indian shoemaking labor is far cheaper than in any other European or American, or for that matter Australian city.

Both men’s and women’s shoes are available in wholesale. Making a wholesale purchase is far more economical than buying any products from the retail market. Wholesale shoes are available almost all over the country. The shoes are comfortable and can be worn with almost every outfit.

However, women’s shoes are definitely more in demand than the men’s shoes. This is because no matter what design of footwear you pick up it can be worn with almost every outfit. Amongst the popular designs in footwear are the embroidered ones. These maybe open sandals or closed shoes known as Mojris, or then slippers. Ladies shoes are also available with appliqué work and beads. As far as the heel is concerned, it maybe the flat slip-ons or the high healed that go upto a couple of inches.

In the men’s department of footwear, the traditional ones include the closed ones called Jutis, as well as sandals and slippers. The ethnic ones are usually embroidered and go well with the Indian garment. A lot of men also wear these with jeans, making them look trendy.

When purchasing wholesale footwear, you must be sure of the quality. In fact, a thorough understanding of every material used in making shoes will always help. Since all the work done is delicate it calls for a lot more care in packaging. Thus, in the initial stages you may have to be present to see that the footwear is well packed. One more convenient aspect is that most dealers sell both men’s and women’s wholesale shoes under one roof.
