One of the sweetest things to go out shopping for is the baby wares,

dolls of the human babies. As far as the baby sweaters are concerned, there is such a vast variety that many a time you would here many mother’s actually exclaim ‘I wish I could buy them all’. This is because those into making baby garments take a lot of pains ensuring that they create the most attractive and colorful wares, which actually confuses one, as they all seem so beautiful. Apart from the fine knits available in the market many pregnant women, as well as to-be-grandmothers spend their free time knitting baby sweaters. At this point probably one question that must be coming forth is – how do you know which color the sweater should be when you are not sure whether it is a boy or girl? Well, the fact is that whether boy or girl, in the first one year, you can make either wear any color, without worrying about the usual – pink for girls and blue for boys demarcation. Even as far as the styles and cuts are concerned, no worries attached. In fact when you go to a store selling baby clothes, you will notice that most of the baby clothes carry a ‘unisex’ label, implying that infant boys and girls can wear the garment. So, if you are one to spend your pregnancy days knitting warm clothing for the baby-on-the-way, why not pick up your favorite colors, instead of wondering – boy or girl… However, baby sweaters should not be bark colors. For that matter no baby clothes should be in dark and somber colors. They should be in light pastel shades, or bright and vibrant hues. You could adorn the sweaters with some satin bows and fancy buttons that are available in almost any shape you can imagine that include – fruits, vegetables, fairy tale and cartoon characters, etc. Further more, you could also knit matching mittens and a cap, as well as the leggings. Babies look like a total bundle of joy when they are made to wear a matching ensemble from head-to-toe. A lot of people feel that knitting is a daunting task that requires a lot of time and patience, in fact quite to the contrary it is a hobby that becomes a habit, especially when you imagine the excitement of making your baby wear what you have made with your own hands. ~ author Karishma Bajaj.
