knitted scarves

Make a fashion statement while keeping yourself warm. Knit is a niche kind of a stitch that brings elegance to your ensemble. It is normally undertaken with two long needles. The needles breadth can change according to the requirement of the stitch. Infact you can also intersperse needles while working on one project.

The patterns can be simple to quite complicated. It depends on the skill and experience of the knitter. Knitted scarves are mostly rectangular in shape i.e. short in breadth and long in length, enough to wind it around your neck and leave the either ends on the shoulder. Or instead get yourself a broad knitted scarf, such that you can throw it over your shoulders. If it is triangle then let the ends fall on to your stomach while the third end sits on the back. If it is square then you can fold the scarf to achieve the triangular look.

These knitted scarves look even better if they have tassels at the end. Just knot the ends of the threads and let them stay. Colors can be blended to arrive at the desired look of the scarf. You can mix two or more colors according to the dress you want to match it against.

In India knitting is one of the most enjoyed hobbies by the housewives. They sit at home and use their idle time knitting. They even make it look more attractive buy linking beads and stones to it. These add-ons can be joined to the scarf. They can be added while knitting it. These add-ons give your scarf even more definition.  ~ Category authored Karishma Bajaj
