winter jackets

There are a myriad of winter jackets available. They are styled and
designed in accordance to the severity of the winter winds. So to speak,
when designers plan the winter jacket trends for the local market, as
well as what needs to be sent to other parts of the country, they need
to keep in mind the varying low temperatures they are dealing with. This is more so vital for the Indian jacket designers, considering that in the northern section of the country is the absolutely cold climate with temperatures going many degrees below the zero mark, and in the south it remaining ten to fifteen degrees lower than the summer thermometer range. Apart from that, when designing for the Indian market designers also need to be aware of the local flavors. This is because in the world this is the only country that houses the maximum diversity in terms of cast, culture and religion. In fact when traveling from one city to the next one can notice a disparity in the style of clothing and behavior, amongst other aspects. As far as the winter jackets go, there is disparity primarily because of the temperate zones that the country stretches through. So while the inhabitants of south India could comfortably pass their winters wearing denim and thick cotton jackets, as well as thinner woolen jackets, in the north Indian states, just wearing a jacket would not be enough. They would in fact need layers of clothing. A typical winter jacket would normally have a layer of wool inside to keep the wearer warm, along with a lining of synthetic fabric. The jackets are normally available in styles such that can be worn over almost any type of attire, be it the traditional Indian wear or then the western wear. If you visit the north Indian states, you can see a huge market of hawkers selling winter jackets, in almost every city and town. They sell their wares at very reasonable rates that are affordable by the common person. In fact what they sell are export rejects. These jackets have miniscule defects because of which they could not be included in the shipment. The defect so to speak cannot be noticed under normal circumstances, unless one is a specialized export sampler. ~ author Karishma Bajaj.
