In most of the Central European countries, the importance the filmmakers enjoy in the society is just equal to the importance enjoyed by the novelists and the politicians of that country. But quite surprisingly in Bosnia the filmmakers enjoy a far greater and impact-full presence in the country.

Modern Bosnia is often wrongly characterized by images of the award-winning features, the countless documentaries on war and its tragedies, the images of a country on its way into its descent into hell. But there is so much more to Bosnian Movies than this.

Producers in the country have little or no experience in raising funds required to make a movie in a market, which has a free-market environment.
