In the past era of the Italian Movies was a genre of Italian Movies that described extensively a society that was wealthy. This narration was interspersed with a heavy dose of morality wearing an overtly formal appearance. This style of narration reflected strongly a culture of that generation and age.

Interestingly, this genre was called “The genre of white Telephones” owing largely to the fact that these white telephones were generously splattered in repeated sequences in the movies.

Though the Italian movies of this genre were not greatly reputed. Nevertheless these movies were responsible for the launch of many a famous stars of later times, like Vittorio De Sica and Alida Valli.

But soon, on the suggestion of the Fascist administration, and of course on the approval of Mussolini, some important structures were created for the Italian movies.

The location chosen to put up these structures for the Italian Movies was an area in the southeastern part of Rome. This area was found suitable and therefore chosen for putting up a building.

This chosen town was then further conceived and provided with all the possible equipment and resources that could be needed for making a film. The provisions included structures like the theatres and also technical services. So much so that even a school of cinematography for younger apprentices was set up.
