Though ballet slippers are considered to be a special wear during the dance still it is more in every household abroad, than in India. Since ballet is itself rare in India, the demand for ballet slippers is naturally less. Availability of ballet slippers is at selective malls or through institutions conducting ballet classes.

ballet slippers to be made. Ballets slippers are never of the same size that
of street shoes generally women try app. 2 or 2 1/2 size smaller than street
shoes while children’s try app same or 1/2 size larger than street shoes.
Actually sizes vary with the brands but pattern wise black and white is
preferred most among adults from the size 2 to 8 1/2.
While purchasing ballet slippers many factors are considered and to be kept
in mind like flexibility while dancing, comfort and of course its weight,
which should be light.
Materials in which ballet slippers are
available is leather, suede, canvas, cotton lining and satin and the colors
can be pink, black, white etc. it can also be in shades of two or three.
Sometimes creativity also comes into picture on ballet slippers after
purchasing them like after buying flat or heels slippers- bows can be put
across, laces can be put around or elastic drawstrings can also be attached.
