electric blankets

Electric blankets were invented sometime in the early 1900s. The heated bed coverings that were used at that time in the name of electric blankets bore little resemblance to the electric blankets we are familiar with today.

The electric blankets in use at that time were big and bulky heating devices that were dangerous to use. However, today, when it's chilly outside, you usually just turn up the heat on one of your electric blankets and keep the household heating costs down.

You are able to cuddle up at the touch of a dial with these thick acrylic polyester electric blankets. The analog solid-state controller of the electric blankets usually adjusts from one to nine settings. The internal heating wire maintains constant warmth. Most of the electric blankets are usually machine washable.

The latest electric blankets usually have clean designs that are lightweight with no obvious wires to weigh you down. They usually don’t have hot or cold spots. Once the blanket gets warmed up, there is usually even heat distribution. The electric blankets usually come with the facility of automatic shut-off within a stipulated period of time. In Chandigarh and New Delhi electric blankets are available only at few selected malls.
