Conversations are an integral part of our everyday life.
And with the mobile phone getting ever handy it is the do of the day.
But have you stopped to wonder as to how your voice is being carried to
the party on the other hand. Along with the other components of the cell there is the microphone. Acting as a catalyst so that your voice is loud and clear at the other end. A microphone you may wonder, you’ve normally seen one of those on a stand and a singer cutting right through it. But with the latest in technology the microphone has been reduced to a chip. So it can easily slide into small machines. Computer speakers are imbedded with such microphones so that when you play any track it streams smoothly. Such is the case for music system speakers and speakers on the whole. But these microphones were not so dynamic in the yesteryears. They were large and chunky. How do microphones it work? Basically the microphone consists of a diaphragm which is made from a foil. When you speak into it, it vibrates and the sound waves are converted into electric waves and then again into sound waves that are permeated into the surrounding. Innovations over innovations germinated the cropped size. Now mikes as they are also called come with and without cords in India. They can be strapped onto your body as is done in chat shows or it can also be connected to the headset as in call centers in India. So basically it depends on the end use. If the user differs the microphone size and its accompaniment differs. These are the technicalities best known to technicians. ~ Authored by R Karwa.
