Giving a sense of fun and adventure to kids is a
basic reason to have kids room so it also goes for kids bedding as it is a
part of kids room. Not only bed should give sense of fun and adventure but
should also match the theme of the room, which may be of a cartoon character
or fairy tale.
Kids bedding has to be designed in such a way that it gives optimum place to
kids in the room that means size of the bed should go relevantly with the
size of the room. Basically size of the bed in kid’s room is 4ft 1.5ft and
the number of beds depends on the number of kids in the room. Like for two
or more kids a bunk bed with switches oh sides can be preferred while for a
single kid low size bed can be preferred with drawers. After deciding size
and place of the bed shape of bed must be decided and while deciding shape
curves and edges must be taken care of because it might hurt kids.
Color of bed must match with the theme of the room and preferably bright
colors must be painted on walls. Beds can be in material of wood, metal,
plastic or fabric which are light weighted and can be hand made or ready
made.
Bed sheets and pillows which are the masking for bed must be also colorful
and should have fun loving pictures on it.
Having a sleepful night with sweet dreams can be done only on bed hence bed
should not only be soft and comfortable but should also compromise with kids
favorite things like frames, soft toys, comics and so on.
