Sedimentation: Sedimentation is the process that occurs when gravity pulls
the particles such as clumps of alum and sediment to the bottom of the
cylinder.
Filtration: Filtration is simply the culmination and the final process to
all the above processes. This process id done through a sand and pebble
filter that removes most of the impurities remaining in the water even after
coagulation and sedimentation has been conducted on the water.
