Rock songs are a form of musical songs with a
specific vocal melody that is mainly associated with electric guitar, drum
and bass guitar. Some rock songs are also linked with musical instruments
like organ, piano, mellotron, saxophone, harmonica, violin, flute, banjo,
timpani and mandolin.
Rock songs include strong beats that were first introduced somewhere in
1950s by Chuck Berry.
These songs became popular overnight and were widely appreciated and accepted by young generations. Young ones started enjoying the beats and rhythm of these songs with delight. The first rock songs were sung to express rebellious streaks. Over the decades, rock songs took a completely different form. The music switched over from traditional beats to modern forms. Thereafter many genres and sub-genres of these songs were introduced. |
