artificial grass

Artificial grass has become a hugely popular alternative in recent times. Its functionality is flexible, so that it can be used for either aesthetic purposes, or landscaping or sporting ventures like golf, tennis and so on. For instances, artificial grass is used on putting greens, and tee mats in golf courses.

With artificial grass, an ugly flat roof can be converted into a lovely terrace garden, without problems of seepage and soil. Although it is used for lawns as well, artificial grass is ideal for terrace gardens, balconies and leisure zones like shopping arcades.

Artificial grass is also ideal for events like a stage show, or a television show or a video shoot, where getting real grass would be a chaotic and messy affair.
The greatest advantage of artificial grass is that it is maintenance free.

For sporting purposes, it has the advantage of not giving players any rugburn, as could happen with natural grass surfaces. It is also cost effective in the sense that players can use it all through the year. Its texture and quality is not affected by climate and weather changes.

It is mostly made of synthetic fibres and has a rubber filling, though some brands also use sand.
