One of the latest & much sought after type of Chandelier is the Wrought iron Chandelier. This is usually painted black, and is heavier than the normal ones. The chandeliers made of iron are more contemporary than the one’s made of glass or crystal.

One always prefers to by Iron Chandeliers, as it is cheaper than the other varieties. Also these chandeliers are easier to ply around, especially for those who are constantly on the move due to their transferable jobs.

In India, though traditionally crystal chandeliers or lanterns were found in homes, today iron is a much-preferred variety. Even offices, restaurants and hotels prefer chandeliers made of iron. One can also design their own shape and size, which would then be manufactured in accordance. Another factor is that these chandeliers belong to a neutral category. What does this mean? The upholstery one needs to use to match these chandeliers is unlimited. For instance, if you have hung a crystal chandelier then the upholstery should be something ethnic. But as said earlier you do not have to worry in the case of the chandeliers crafted out of iron.
