  Green is the color of abundance and is the color of nature. According to various alternative sciences and therapies, being in the midst of nature is extremely therapeutic. Just being a part of green surroundings brings relaxation, comfort and peace to the individual.

But, for people living in the urban cities, or what we term as concrete jungles, the green patches are absolutely scarce. And, to make up for this a lot of people put up nature posters on their walls. People are known to meditate with their eyes open staring into the poster with nature on it.

These posters could be of flowers, trees, jungles, a dessert, river, sea, mountains, just about anything that is defined as natural. The posters are available in various sizes. They make for fine wall accessories in the drawing room and bedroom. A number of offices also put up nature posters as they realize its value in soothing frayed nerves.

An important factor about nature posters is that one must feel happy looking at it. For instance there are certain posters like that of the cactus plant that may create a discomfort. One could also be innovative in framing these posters. One could use frames made from wrought iron, wood, brass, bronze of or copper. Some people create their own frames as an extension of the poster. It is not necessary to frame them, but to increase the lifespan, the frame with a glass or plastic covering prevents wear and tear.
