Outdoor furniture these days give an idea as
to how the interior of the place will be. We can say outdoor furniture
create a first impression for any house, hotel, malls etc. outdoor
furniture can be made of iron, steel, bamboo, teak etc.. Teak as an
material for outdoor furniture looks elegant & has stood the test of
time. Different type of furniture can be structured out of teak like teak dining table, teak chairs, swings, umbrellas, etc. While making different structures sometimes we also need to include different material with it in varying ratio. Like metal, wrought iron etc…can also be a part of teak outdoor furniture. Teak outdoor furniture needs high level of maintenance and care and that's the reason people don’t find it easy to use them. Definitely if the furniture is made for outdoor purpose than care has to be taken as the furniture is exposed to wind, dust and different climatic conditions. One thing should always be remembered while using teak outdoor furniture and that is to keep it always 'dry' & clean. The rich honey tones of the teak wood furniture, which makes it a stand out, can be maintained by using oil at regular interval. Oiling it regularly helps it from weathering to a soft gray color. The maintenance will depend on the climate condition like the amount of sun and rain the furniture is subject to. Many people prefer teak furniture for it's natural look, only proper maintenance can preserve this.
