You can give your home a unique charm and character with decorative
paintings. Rag- rolling, sponging, stippling are a few of the styles

stupendous style of decorative painting is the broken colour technique
using glazes and washes. One or more colours are applied over a base
coat in broken layers. This technique endures glazes and washes. What is a glaze? It is an oil-based paint which is mixed with linseed and gives a more transparent look than washes. However to enjoy a beautiful work of art with this style one has to give it more time to dry and let it be left open. What is a wash? These are latex paints that have been thinned to produce a delicate sheen that looks even more sophisticated than a glaze. Even the brush marks can be traced with this style giving it more depth and richer texture. what’s more they are easier to clean and modify making it a preferred choice over washes. Before you begin your project you have to make sure the wall on which you begin your work of art is ready for your venture. To optimize results take note of the following points. Firstly you have to prepare the surface. Clean it and wash it off for any existing grime and dirt. Then test your technique. Design some foam boards first and place it around the house the way you want to have it. If it stays in the right position you can take a call on it.
