An eagle is an emblem of total freedom….a powerful
creature with elegant demeanor that announces its rule in the skies. An
indispensable element of the American identity, the Bald eagle
represents survival of the fittest with a long life, strength and an
imperial look. The creature that lives atop mountains or rests in tall
trees and he who sails most gracefully along the tides of the wind, has
earned itself the great honor of being molded in bronze or resin or
glass and embellish our desktops and gardens as Eagle statues When speaking of these statues, one of the most striking names that come to mind is that of ‘Chester Field’. A renowned wildlife artist, Chester Field earned himself a stature in the group of ‘elite artists’. He is most popular for his ingenuity in designing and creating bronze eagle statues. His first Eagle statue, christened as ‘Splashdown’, marked the turning point in his career. This sculpture depicting an Eagle catching a fish was an instant sell-out and the emerged the most favorite editions. There are several forms and varieties of Eagle statues available, right from perched version to the soaring poses. The perched version atop a snow mountain with a frosty look; two eagles expanding their wings and flying in synch etc. are wonderful poses. An eagle swooping to catch a fish ranks amongst the top few favorites too. The statues with an eagle fighting a snake are popular too. These statues are made of resin, wood, bronze, ceramic, acrylic etc. depending upon its usage and the pose or theme. Yet another form of statue is a falcon darting on their prey.
