Baby Teething symptoms.

Symptoms in teething can be very confusing for a first time mother. Kids are normally fussy about food and they lose interest even in their favorite meal. Tugging the cheeks is another early symptom as the teeth cutting through the gum may cause them discomfort. The common sign is excess saliva that can also result in cough. Another factor could be a rash around the lip area as drooling excessively can be sensitive for their skin.

Kids may be cranky but again certain kids sail through this process easily. While teething, kids have a common tendency to put everything in their mouth as they have the desire to gnaw or bite. The tugging is continued whilst breast feed and can cause slight discomfort to the mother. Although one may notice a slight swelling in the gums as they make way for the first incisor to pop out, one has to wait and watch for the tooth to actually arrive.

If the child is highly sensitive then teething can cause irritability during the night and the child may be wakeful. Medication is not required except if advised by the doctor. Another factor can be loose motions as kids put almost everything in their mouth as a result germs are ingested and this causes a tummy upset. A slight temperature is common as the teething process for certain kids can be painful.

Sometimes, Baby teething may show no symptoms at all.
However most babies show the following common teething symptoms :

Pain : Baby teething can be painful & your baby may cry from the pain.

Gums : A common baby teething symptom is the babies gums may be become red, sore and swollen.

Drooling : Baby teething can cause increased drooling.

Chewing : Your baby may chew on things & put them in the mouth.

Cranky : The baby may become cranky, restless and fussy.
