Baby Teething

The milestones for a baby is a test for parents too. Teething is one process that has a lot of study and depth. It is to be understood, that each child is different and what can be a painful teething process for one child can be a much more relaxed phenomena for another baby. Children usually start teething from five to seven months. The emerging of the pearly whites transforms their facial features and one is overwhelmed at the sight of the initial two incisors.

Teething is a very natural process and in rare cases it may be delayed beyond a year. The pediatrician will guide you on whether medicines are required or not to soothe the pain while teething. The early sign of teething is when the gums get harder and felt during breast feeding. Kids also resort to clenching their fists or holding their jaw tight during the process.

Baby teething usually starts between three and 15 months of age. Baby teething is when your baby's first teeth start to come in.

The first baby teeth usually are the bottom front teeth followed by The front upper teeth.

By the time your baby is two and half years old they should have all 20 of their baby teeth.
While some babies get their teeth at 6 months of age, some get them as early as 3 months, some are even born with teeth, while others don't get any teeth until they're one year old or even later.

When your child is about 6 years old, new teeth called the "6 year old molars" or adult teeth will appear at the very back. These teeth are last for the rest of your child's life.
