| Shoes for brides Wedding planners make it easy to get into the enjoyable mood and also retain the eclectic charm that is required at most weddings. There are easy-to-wear styles and do-it-yourself tricks for the hair, which can be practiced much before the wedding. Planning for a wedding has to be done with advance and any last minute changes should be avoided. The ideal situation would be to chalk down the list, visit a few shopping arcades for discounted buys and plan out a theme.
Brides, in modern times, wear shoes that may not be very different from regular party shoes. However, the age-old bridal shoe is a special one. It is a soft, low-heeled affair, usually made of silk or satin cloth. Bridal shoes are usually matched to the color the bride is wearing. In keeping with the whole white or ivory costume, the shoes are also white, cream or pastel. Another advantage with getting light-colored shoes is that later, they can be dyed a darker color and worn on other occasions, after the wedding. It is important that bridal shoes be comfortable, because there is a tradition of dancing through the evening after the wedding ceremony. If the bride is in high heels, she will probably be forced to kick off her shoes and go around barefoot. The most comfortable is the ballet-slipper type of footwear. ~ author Annie Zaidi. copyright @indianchild.com |
