An arbitrator can be defined as a person who has been chosen and authorize to preside over an arbitration proceeding. In other words, he chairs the alternative dispute resolution. Arbitration is a very specialized field and beyond the purview of common men’s awareness. Interestingly, arbitrators are supposed to play the roles of both judge and jury. Arbitration refers to a method of resolving disputes outside the court environment. It is a very important part of the legal field. Arbitrators are legal professionals who address procedural issues. They give fair chance to all the parties involved. They hear to each party’s side of the case, analyze and weigh the facts and after applying the correct law sections, they declare the final verdict. Usually, the judgment of the arbitrators is binding on the parties concerned.
