Christmas scenery

Every year-end there is one festival that everyone awaits, no matter where they may live in the world – Christmas.  And the festivity of this grand festival is enhanced further by the sceneries created at home and in commercial complexes. In fact, the sceneries are created at least a fortnight before the actual festival, which works as a perfect build-up to the celebration.

Christmas scenery though is commonly based on the theme of Santa Claus and the Christmas tree, or the birth of Jesus Christ; yet each year there is freshness to what is created. This is because there is a lot lights and innovation in the way the decorations are put up.

If creating the Christmas scenery at home then, even though you may want to use the previous year’s decoration, yet it can be created differently. The difference could be in where you decide to put up the tree and the stockings. The difference could be in entrusting someone else with the responsibility. And yet if there is no real difference, yet whatever you do, ensure that it all makes the hearts happy.

The most common type of Christmas scenery created is that of the Christmas tree. In large commercial complexes there is the huge decorated tree, along with a model of Santa Claus, and a few snowmen. This can be replicated at home too.

The ideal scenery for this festival will be to select a corner in the house, empty out the furniture. Ideally it should have a window in the background. Place the Christmas tree there. To decorate the tree you can use ribbons; cotton wool for the snow effect; shining decorative hanging balls, stars, and place and angel right on top. You could also use the colorful lights that could be wrapper around the tree. On the windows in the background you could spray some temporary white paint to give the frosty effect and hang up some fancy paper snowflakes. You could also put up the colorful lights bordering the windowsill a large glowing star in the center.

If you wish to do something different, then you could place a snowman next to the tree, as if guarding it. Also you could spread cotton wool all over the floor in that decorative corner, to create the snow effect. Also, you could purchase a Santa Claus doll, with his sleigh ridden by reindeers, which could be placed next to the Christmas tree. Adding the snowman and Santa Claus actually completes the entire Christmas theme.

To go one step further you could also get dolls of baby Jesus, Mother Mary, Joseph, and other dolls that could be dressed in cloaks that represent what was worn by people in Bethlehem, and create a stable, representing the birth of Jesus Christ.

And if you got kids at home, or you are a teacher then maybe you could get the kids to make pictures of Christmas, as they understand it. The sceneries they create can be added to the Christmas décor at home or at school. The main thing is that whatever is created, there should be a feeling of revelry and joy.
