However, one must keep in mind that curtain rods do need to be maintained well. They have to be kept clean. The ones that are meant for blinds, and automatic curtains need servicing from time to time, to ensure that the curtains open and close comfortably. Usually, accumulation of dust particles causes disruption in the working of such curtains.
