The wedding dress patterns have seen a whole new face in the recent years.

The traditional wedding dress patterns have transcended and matured to give way to exquisite and breathtaking blends, which are worn as bridal-wear today.

This entire transition in the most traditional and almost sacrilegious garment of all time has been caused only due to the immense contribution of the established designers who have painstakingly created almost artistic masterpieces and so-called heirlooms in the name of bridal wear.

Yes, Designer Wedding Dress Patterns are definitely a rage today. Women are willing to spend lavishly to get the best possible designer wear to add to their trousseau. Gone are the days of traditional shop hopping in search of that perfect garment to be worn on that all-important occasion for the bride to be. Now are the times when the brides have exclusive designer patterns designed and fitted for them. It is absolutely a dream come true for a woman who loves clothes and well, designer clothes at that.

Now, the bride can have for her calling, designs created keeping in mind her personality. Well, of course there is a heavy designer price tag that comes along with this ultimate fantasy come true for any woman.

But, well, what price is too large to pay for an exquisite collection designed exclusively for you. Ritu Kumar with her bridal collection was one of the pioneers of the emerging bridal fashion.

Some of the other famous designers who contribute greatly to the designer wedding dress pattern palettes are Raghuvendra Rathore whose dedicated follower is the likes of Simi Garewal, Rohit Bal who is the bold trend setter and draws from history, fantasy and folklore,  JJ Valaya whose accepted hallmarks are rich Indian textiles, interesting colours, classic silhouettes and some of the finest of embroideries, Monisha Bajaj who is a product of the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandise in Los Angeles and her range is generally fashioned from sensuous georgettes, organzas, chiffons, exquisite gold tissue and net with striking shading in lime and yellow, also gold and white, Hemant Trivedi who is also famous for creating the winning collections for the Miss World contestants like Aishwarya Rai, Diana Hayden and Priyanka Chopra, Amar Jyot Singh Anand who is a student of the J.D.Institute of Fashion Technology and NIFT, Ritu Beri, Ravi Bajaj, Ashish Soni and so many others constantly joining this growing circuit of this rapidly growing markets as more and more brides nowadays consider the bridal occasion special enough to stake a large part of the wedding expenses on the trousseau collection solely.

Therefore it is primarily the willingness on the brides’ side to spend and of course experiment with the changing face of the bridal wear in India today. And as the trend is observed it seems that there are a growing number of such women in India and the industry will continue to grow as the trend is only growing and spreading.
