Christmas is one time when desserts assume centre-stage. During festivals, sweets are the most important thing on everyone’s minds. The most famous Christmas desserts are marzipans, stuffed puddings, chocolate truffle cake, apple pie and cranberry sauce.

In fact, there are places in Europe, where they serve thirteen traditional desserts during Christmas, perhaps as a representation of Christ and the twelve apostles.
