Formal wear reflects an individual’s
personality. Think about the times when you have worn formal clothes and how
you arrive in an altogether different mindset. Right from the occasion to
the attitude, talk and even behavior, everything acquires shades of
formality. From that perspective, formal wear is definitely an extension of
one’s personality. Different countries have different dress codes. Like if
you go to western world, formal wear refers to blazer for men and gown or
skirts for women. The colours of the attire must be sober. The last point is
subject to debate as in recent times; even colours of formal wear have
started to take different shades of bright. In fact, bright formal attires
are now days are quietly accepted.
Branded formal wear have much more to speak beside patterns and materials
like they have to speak things like Monday dressing, Tuesday dressing and so
on to get a feel good factor and to conceptualize dressing. Females
branded formal wear are not easily available so they prefer to go for tailor
made clothes except for sarees. Materials preferred in formal wear are
cotton, silk and chiffon and patterns for formal wear are easily available
in magazines, shows on television or ideas can be taken from designers.
