Evening bags make their own fashion statements. In Indian malls &
shopping plazas, they are available in an array of styles and shapes.
What’s even more exciting is they go beyond the concept of plain leather.
They are available in a metal, shell, suede and a variety of interesting
fabrics that range from satin, silk, crepe, matte and velvet. But, that’s
not all – you can now have evening bags dyed to match the color of your
outfit and also have it made from the same material. A variety of fine
stores offer this service to customers.
The shapes and styles of evening bags too have become adventurous to match
with changing trends. However, crepe, satin, matte and fawn are a popular
choice as fabric with most women for evening bags. These bags are normally
set off with a chain, made of gold or silver. There are also bags that are
available without chains. Instead, you’ll find bags that come with cords to
match them.
More recently, embroidered evening bags have also become quite popular. The
two-tone fabric bag has also caught the fancy of many and very much a part
of the wardrobe. Most evening bags come in practical sizes and a designed to
hold just necessary belongings.
There are different shapes in evening bags that are a favorite with most
women. One shape that makes itself extremely popular for an evening bag is
the ‘clutch’. This shape in evening bags has been around for a long time
and will continue its reign – as it can hold quite a bit. Also it
compliments any type of eveningwear.
The cylindrical shape with a box top is also a favorite with some as an
evening bag. These bags are normally available in satin and come with either
a gold or silver chain, which you can pull through from the center.
The triangular shaped evening bag is also becoming popular. It comes with a
matching cord in different colors. There are also decorative evening bags,
which come with a scalloped top decorated with rhinestone. Then there are
evening bags that are embroidered with flowers and rhinestones. There are
also shell-shaped evening bags that come with iridescent beads totally
embroidered on the surface of the bag in colors that range from black, gray,
silver, gold, ivory, pink, red and brown.
