Evening shoes are considered to be very chic. They could be
ballet, flat, pumps, sandals, platform or sling back variety. However, they
have a touch of panache which puts them in a different league altogether.
Most evening shoes have something about them that sparkle and shine. They
come in a variety of styles, which are suited for the more conservative to
the most adventurous types. All in all, comfort is often a criterion
especially if one has to spend the entire evening in them
In India, you’ll find evening shoes that feature metallic gold fabric and
rhinestones with medium heels that are about 31/2” high. There are also
those that come with silver faux leather uppers fully sequined with sculpted
heels.
The other styles are mules that come with a pointed toe and a sling back. It
has satin uppers, which have bead and sequins all over the top in a floral
pattern. For the bold and beautiful, preferred evening shoes would be gold
patent pumps, which come with gold ankle ribbons and a pendant. A style the
more adventurous could consider is the 4-inch leather thongs in platinum,
which are studded with diamante crystals.
In high-heeled evening shoes consider one that’s neither too strappy nor
clunky. You could consider a 4-inch with two satin straps that will give
you an air of elegance. There are also evening shoes made with frosted
silver leather and Swarovski crystals that embellish the straps and buckle.
All in all, evening shoes are extremely dressy as they feature beaded
motifs, buckles, diamante, feathers, furs and even embroidery with elegantly
shaped heels to match – making those who sport them stand head and shoulder
over the rest.
