Flip flop sandals must have probably got
their name from the sound that these sandals create. They are similar to
thongs as the straps go between the toes but are more casual and
carefree. Flip flop sandals are the apparel for a beach outing. They go on perfectly with cotton, a hat and your beach bag. With the current trend of long flared skirts these flip flop sandals blend in perfectly. They give that gypsy carefree look. Moreover they also put you in a comfortable and cool mood, as they are lightweight and extremely comfortable. They can be worn to the beach or a casual party. In the beginning flip flop shoes were said to be worn only within the precincts of the home. They were not considered eligible to be worn outside. But the rebels took these sandals to the outside world and made it look stylish. Today flip flop sandals are available with delicate straps, even beads and crystal have been embedded in the strap giving it a class apart look. In India students in colleges are seen romping around with these sandals. As flats are in vogue, flip flop sandals have become even more common in the Indian shoe market. Men are not left out of this arena. Even they have taken up a fancy to flip flop sandals.
