Fashion is all about color and style. This years trends have more feminine touches. The colors are thematic that range from grassy green to cotton candy pink. Warm colors are all the rage., but one needs to ensure they are clear, bright and flattering. A great way to begin is with pinks and blues. India fashion week showcased prints holding their sway this season so you can sport bold floral to strong graphics in a splash of bright hues. Colors like Black and white tmade waves with graphic prints, houndstooth and florals. In city colleges, jeans continue to be irreplaceable. |
The 50s have been influencing the dress category with full skirted, knee length dresses making an appearance everywhere from tea parties to the cocktail circuit.
The 20s too cannot be overlooked with their dapper look in drop waist
dresses and sparkle. Cotton and linen are the fabrics for this spring and
summer. Satin and satin effect finishes will be hot favorites.
Sports styles will continue to reign in casual designs especially for folks
who prefer comfortable everyday wear. Channel type jackets are taking center
stage. Layered lightweight sweaters over shirts along with a knee length
skirt will be a hit this season.
