Flowers

 

 

Begonia

Flowers of the wax begonia can be single or double and are borne in small clusters.

Chrysanthemum

 

The daisy-type flowers come in a wide range of colors including yellow, orange, red, bronze, white, lavender, and pink.

Daffodil

Daffodil flowers have a trumpet-shaped structure set against a star-shaped background; often the trumpet is a contrasting color from the background.

Dahlia

Dahlia flowers range from 2-3 inches across for single flowered forms and up to twice that for the double-flowered forms. Bloom color range includes just about every color except blue.

 

Marigold

 

Most marigold flowers are fully double, though there are some that are semi-double and some single-flowered types.

 

Orchid

Orchids are treasured for their showy blossoms that are often quite large and brightly colored

 

 

Pansy

 

Solid-colored pansies are also available.

Rose

The most popular garden roses are hybrid teas and similar types of roses that are grafted onto vigorous, disease-resistant rootstock. The flowers are usually double or semi-double, sometimes fragrant, and come in just about every imaginable color except blue.
