Tony Hawk is one of the world-renown skateboard champions who has participated in over hundred contests, winning most of them. In fact he is considered by a vast majority as a skateboarder’s icon. His achievements were possible because of the sophisticated skateboards. In fact he is responsible to a great extent for the present day skateboards. In the initial stages when skateboarding was barely introduced the skateboard was merely made from a plank of wood with rough edges, mounted on roller-skate wheels. As time went by skateboards were transformed into sophisticated well carved wood mounted on special skateboard wheels. The skateboards actually came to resemble the surfing boards used on the beach, though a miniature version. While the skateboards are available in varied colors, one of the prominent accessories commonly found on skateboards are logos. These maybe either pasted onto the skateboard or the painted onto this adventure sport vehicle.
Logos are of
varied themes, sizes and colors. Some have the sophisticated look, while
others maybe comical. The logos one chooses does speak volumes about the
skateboarder. For instance a skateboarder who has comical logos all over his
skateboard, would definitely be one with a good sense of humor and
completely fun loving. On the other hand straightforward logos indicate the
skateboarder to be one who means business. Apart from speaking about the
personality of the skateboarder, logos also reveal the age and sex of the
skateboarder under the safety helmet. There are skateboarding logos
specially designed for females, males and children, among the various
categories of skateboarders. Ideally a skateboarder is advised to pick up
logos that they can identify in order to feel absolutely skateboarding.
