If you are buying a new pair of
skateboarding shoes then instead of ordering or buying that latest pair of
ones available right away you might just want to re-think your choice and
get a real skateboarding shoe instead.

The four main
things that should look out for while buying a skateboarding shoe are:
1. Protection:
The most important aspect of a good skateboarding shoe is the life of the shoe. A good
Ollie protection for the shoe would mean also a
much longer life of the shoe.
And make sure that the ollie protection covers a large chunk of your toe
area if not all of it. Don’t settle for anything less than that. Also make
sure that you don’t ever
buy shoes with high-top converse pieces for street skating.

2. Lace:
The laces are very important because they can fall apart quite easily. And
when you really
start getting into skateboarding actively your laces might just be ripping
off every session. And this is precisely the reason why the lace protection
is very important. Skate shoes are almost useless without this very
important feature. And it is always much better if the laces are inside.
3. Comfort:
Comfort is a very highly rated factor in buying
skateboarding shoes.
Especially comfort is very important because there might be times when you
might skate for more than 2 hours and in case of uncomfortable shoes the
feet might get sore. And having comfortable shoes in that case might just
help to ease the pain and discomfort.
4. Grip:
The grip of the sole is also important.
The Grip tape might wear down fast and in that case you need to have a
strong grippy sole to rely on.
Generally the gum soles are considered
to have the best gripping capacity.
