here are some gift ideas for moms....Moms love just almost anything their kids make for them!

 
FLOWER BASKET GIFTS FOR MOMS:
Fold large piece or colorful paper in half and draw the outline of a flower on one half, keeping paper folded. Cut out, to get 2 flower shapes. Paste the shapes together, leaving top open. Add green stem and leaves. Twist 2 strands of yarn together to make a handle and staple it to the top of the basket.

CLOSET FRESHENERS GIFTS
1.) Start with an orange, stick whole cloves into the orange rind. Cover with a mesh netting, tying together in one spot. Add a ribbon to the gathered spot for hanging.
2.) Poke holes in 2 clean sour cream containers. Fill one cup with potpourri and glue the 2 cups together. Decorate with yarn, felt, etc.

 

MAKE A BOOKMARK / CARD:
Fold cardboard inserts from pantyhose in half, lengthwise and write a greeting inside. From tagboard, cut a flower with a long stem and leaves. Color both sides. Cut 2 slits in the card front and insert the stem of the flower. The flower can be removed, and used as a bookmark.

MOMS FLOWER MAGNET GIFT (daffodils):
Start with sturdy yellow construction paper. Cut a daffodil (like a daisy shape) background. Now, take a piece of that yellow paper approximately 1 1/2" by 4" -- make "fringe cuts" on one of the long sides, roll it together, to fit into the center of the daffodil background, and staple. Glue a picture of the child on the center of the daffodil background. Staple or glue the tube piece around the child's picture. Attach a magnet to the back.
