If one wants to visit
a country in the world where he can get the pleasure of experiencing the
divinity of nature’s endowment in a short duration then it has to be
only one country and that is India that is beautifully depicted in the
pictures/ photographs taken. India is a country
which is gifted with a rich variety of natural beauty manifested in the
forms of climate, vegetation, relief, soils, water bodies, animals etc….
each one of these make India one of the best places for photography
contributing in their own special way. There are three broad
divisions for photography. The northern Himalayan mountain ranges which
is considered Switzerland in India has ranges parallel to one another
with beautiful valleys in between them is a photographers delight. Most
of the valleys are fertile like the Kashmir and the kullu valley that
has extensive rich scenic beauty – a treat for photo lovers. The
backwaters, lagoons, and the waterways all add to the beauty of this
environment. These pictures are just breathtaking. |
The photographs of
rivers like the Ganga, Brahmaputra, Narmada, Godavari, and cauvery makes
you forget all your tensions and takes you behind time that gives a feel
of peace and serenity.The pictures of some
of the beautiful beaches that have sands of different colours varying
from the shades of yellow, brown, red to black actually takes us far
away from the noise, crowd and pollution to a mystical and beautiful
locale.

The tea plantations
in Darjeeling, the mustard fields in U.P, and jute plantations in west
Bengal and Assam, the paddy fields in konkan and kerala and the coconut
plantations along the coastal regions add to the list and also a feather
to the cap for Indian photographs.
The taj mahal, kutub
minar, hawa mahal, the gateway of India, etc.. are like a trademark and
a permanent member of the Indian photographic family.
The elephants in the
south, the rhinos in the northeast, the Bengal tigers in the sunder ban,
the peacocks all over the country etc.. make it a perfect arena for
exotic and rich pictures that are invaluable for photographers and photo
