The first of eight children born to John and Mary (Arden) Shakespeare in Stratford-upon-Avon, England on April 23, 1564. Baptized April 26, 1564.
Shakespeare Attended the King's New School where classes began at 6AM (summer) or 7AM (winter) and lasted until 5PM
On November 1582 the 18-year-old William Shakespeare married 26-yr-old Ann Hathaway.
Their first child (Susanna) was born 6 months after their marriage.
February 2, 1585 Shakespeare's twins (Hamnet and Judith) were baptized.
April 23, 1616 Shakespeare died and was buried in the Holy Trinity Church.
His epitaph:
          "Good friend for Jesus' sake forbear,

          To dig the dust enclosed here:

          Blest be the man that spares these stones,

          And curst be he that moves my bones."

Though it was customary to dig up the bones from previous graves to make room for others, Shakespeare's remains are still undisturbed.
