Job Interview Questions

Job interview is a process through which the abilities of an applicant are tested by the management of the company. There is no fixed format of a job interview. Different organizations have different practices for conducting job interviews. During an interview, a candidate might have to go through behavioral interview, technical interview or stress interview. Applicant also needs to be prepared for different types of questions like close-ended questions or open-ended questions. Many organizations ask hypothetical questions, behavioral questions or multi-barreled questions during the interview.

So if a candidate has appeared for an open-ended interview, he/she will be judged on the basis of qualities possessed by him/her. The atmosphere will be informal and candidate can also be asked personal questions. But if the applicant is sitting for a close-ended interview, he will be asked formal questions on his previous works or researches etc. As we can see, there is no set formula to an interview thus; the job applicant needs to be prepared to face any type of questions.

Some of the common job interview questions are:-

• What makes you think that you can do this job?
