An experienced physiotherapist serving US hospitals earn around 60,000 to 73,000 USD per year, when placed at NHS.

To be qualified as a physiotherapist, a physiotherapy degree is the basic requirement. The minimum requirements for the entry to the course in US is normally a three A levels at grade C or above with a study on at least one science subject. The full time degree courses are around three to four years of duration. The people who already have a good relevant honors degree can opt for the full time accelerated masters degree courses. The degree courses include the theory classes of anatomy, physiology, pathology, psychology and physics with the practical clinical classes.

The physiotherapist training is provided in a manner so that it involves both the periods of theory and clinical exposure. The clinical exposure during the training program helps the students to understand more about the treatment plans. The training is beneficial to the students in terms of team building as well as in developing high success rate in the healthcare profession.
